Welcome - I combine my relationship, trauma and neurodivergent expertise, helping individuals and couples to explore how they move from survival into thriving, where Havening Techniques can play a key part in supporting this.

I have always been compassionate and curious about people, their motivation & behaviour. After 10 years in the corporate world, I trained as a coach in 2000 & then as a systemic couple’s worker in 2005. In 2015, I first learned about the role of the body and brain in trauma, and it all made so much sense. I then knew why all the talking therapy had only healed so much and I explored a range of somatic and psychosensory modalities to personally heal further. I wanted to be able to offer similar support to clients and qualified in EMDR in 2021 and then discovered Havening Techniques. My own journey and parenting have taught me so much about difference, the importance of our sensory experience and I have listened to lots of autistic and ADHD adult’s lived experience to understand more as I grew in myself and as a parent.

I am married with 3 sons – 1 young adult and 2 teenage twins, one of whom is autistic and home educated. I thrive when I have time to be creative; from sgraffito, doodling to painting, or spend time walking, with friends, growing veg in our garden or enjoying comedy or dramas.
